GANDERBAL: As part of the “Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir” campaign, J&K Police in Ganderbal, in collaboration with the Excise Department, conducted a joint Wild Cannabis Destruction Drive at Lar, Wandhama & adjoining areas.
During the drive, wild cannabis plants growing along roadside and other various locations were thoroughly identified and systematically uprooted and destroyed, eliminating potential sources of substance abuse and safeguarding the younger generation from the harmful consequences of drug addiction.
Police remains firmly committed to its mission of making the Ganderbal district drug-free and strengthening collective efforts against the menace of drugs. The public is urged to remain vigilant and extend active cooperation by identifying and reporting illicit drug activities and cultivation to the Police.
