BUDHAL: The Jammu & Kashmir Rural Livelihood Mission (JKRLM) Budhal, in collaboration with the Health Department, organized a mega health camp at Panchayat Ghar Kewal, providing free medical checkups and medicines to members of local Self-Help Groups (SHGs).
The camp was aimed at improving healthcare access for SHG members, raising awareness about preventive health measures, and ensuring early diagnosis of common ailments. A team of medical professionals, including Medical Officer Dr. Latif Dar and Dr. Qamar Jabeen, along with paramedical staff, conducted health checkups and provided consultations.
District Program Manager, NRLM, Qamran Hanief, highlighted the importance of such initiatives in empowering women through better health awareness. He emphasized the role of regular health checkups in ensuring overall well-being. The beneficiaries expressed gratitude for the initiative, which helped them receive essential healthcare services at their doorstep.
