PANAR:  In a commendable effort to provide healthcare to remote areas, the Indian Army, in collaboration with the 4015 Field Hospital and 26 Assam Rifles under the Manasbal Sector, organized a medical camp in Panar, Bandipora district. The initiative aimed to offer essential medical services to the underprivileged, ensuring they receive proper healthcare and guidance.

The camp provided free health check-ups and medicines, while patients requiring specialized treatment were referred to advanced medical facilities. A total of 295 individuals benefitted from the camp. Alongside medical aid, an awareness program was conducted to educate locals on disease prevention, hygiene, and sanitation, emphasizing their importance in maintaining overall health.

The people of Bandipora hailed the efforts of the Army, expressing their gratitude for the initiative and hoping for more such camps in the future. Many acknowledged the Army’s continuous commitment to improving the well-being of citizens in remote areas. The initiative not only addressed immediate healthcare needs but also reinforced the bond between the Army and the local community.

The successful conduct of the medical camp highlights the Army’s dedication to social welfare, ensuring that even the most isolated regions receive the necessary medical attention and awareness for a healthier future.
