JAMMU: World AIDS Day was celebrated at Maternity Hospital Gandhinagar Govt Medical College Jammu in collaboration with Bee Enn College for Nursing(BECON) & Bee Enn Nursing Institute (BNNI). On the occasion the chief guest were Mr. Ashok Verma (President of young blood organization , along with Dr Arun Sharma Medical Superintendent of Maternity Hospital Gandhinagar Govt Medical College Jammu.
Others whoattended the programme included Mr.Tazender Singh premi (cheif advisor young blood organisation), Raj Kumar (cd president new young blood), Mr.Anil Kumar( general secretary new young blood ), Mr.Arjash Raina (advisor new young blood);officers and officials of Maternity Hospital Gandhinagar Govt Medical College Jammu and student nurses and tutors of Bee Enn College for Nursing(BECON) & Bee Enn Nursing Institute (BNNI).
The programme started with a song by the students followed by a panel discussion on HIV AIDS, which included Moderator Fajjar Hassan and Panelist: Ms Kifayat Gul, Ms Bazila Hamid, Ms Mehak Ali, Ms Himanshi Sharma, Mr Hardik krishan, Mr Mir Arfat & Mr Imran Bashir. The panel discussion was covering all aspects of HIV AIDS and was followed by presentation of momentoes to the guests and certificates to the students.
A fabulous rangoli had been made by Ms Jyoti a student and was appreciated by all the guest, students and officers and officials of the Hospital. Thereafter the students presented a nukkad natak in front of the hospital fot the public covering the various aspects of HIV AIDS. Role play participants were : Aroosha Nazeer, Alliya bano, Anchal devi, chesfeeda, Gazala Bashir, Govsia maqbool, insha hamid, insha Rashid, Jyoti, Mahnaza Hassan, Mehek nisar.
Various arrangements were done by staff & students including Mr Shagun Thapa Ayushman Mitra maternity hospital,Ms heena shafi , Ms bisma Hassan, Ms basira Gulzar, Ms bisma Gulzar, Mr Anish, Mr imtiyaz, Mr iflaq, Mr athar. Students were given refreshments in the last sponsored by young blood association.
