JAMMU: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu is proud to announce the observance of Vigilance Awareness Week 2024 (28th Oct 2024-03rd Nov 2024), aligning with the national campaign to promote integrity and transparency in all spheres of life. This year’s theme, “Culture of Integrity for Nation’s Prosperity,” underscores the vital role of honesty, ethical conduct, and accountability in the nation’s development.
The highlight of the observance was the Integrity Pledge ceremony, held on 28th Oct 2024 in the PATANJALI Classroom. Prof. B.S. Sahay, Director, IIM Jammu, graced the occasion and led the IIM Jammu fraternity in taking the Integrity Pledge. This pledge serves as a commitment to uphold the principles of integrity and to work towards fostering a culture of vigilance within the institution and beyond.
In his address, Prof. B. S. Sahay, Director, IIM Jammu emphasized that integrity is the cornerstone of a prosperous society and that fostering a culture of honesty and accountability not only strengthens the institution but also contributes significantly to the nation’s growth. He urged everyone to commit to being vigilant and to promote transparency in their actions.
Present at the event were Prof. Jabir Ali, Dean Academics, IIM Jammu; Dr. Rashmi Ranjan Parida, Chairperson Placements; Shri CA Rajat Jain, FA-CAO, IIM Jammu; and Cmdr. Kesavan Baskkaran, CAO, IIM Jammu. They were joined by faculty members, officers, and staff in reaffirming their dedication to creating a corruption-free environment.
The Integrity Pledge ceremony served as a reminder of the collective responsibility we share in promoting ethical practices and raising awareness about the importance of integrity in our personal and professional lives. Together, the IIM Jammu community commits to building a transparent and accountable institution that contributes to the prosperity of the nation.
