Yudhvir Sethi, Surinder Bhagat holds public darbar at BJP headquarters

JAMMU: BJP Vice-President and former MLA from Jammu East, Yudhvir Sethi, and BJP MLA from Marh constituency, Surinder Bhagat, held a Public Darbar at the Bharatiya Janata Party headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, Jammu. The public darbar witnessed participation from a large number of people and deputations from across Jammu city and its adjoining areas, who came to raise various civic and administrative concerns.

Throughout the interaction, deputations from different localities highlighted a range of pressing issues. A deputation from Pouni Chak voiced concerns regarding electricity supply and demanded swift restoration of damaged internal roads. Residents of Talab Tillo raised demands under the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP), while a group from Anand Nagar called for urgent repair of lanes and drains.

Deputations from Akhnoor and Javed Nagar sought the repair and construction of main and link roads, respectively. A deputation from Bahu Plaza raised the issue of E-Buses. A group from Rajouri flagged an administrative issue requiring intervention, while residents of Dhatreyar village pressed for road connectivity to their region.

Addressing the gathering, Yudhvir Sethi said, “The BJP is committed to addressing the genuine concerns of the public. These public darbars are a means to ensure that people’s voices reach the administration effectively. We are taking note of each issue raised and will escalate them to the appropriate departments for timely redressal.”

Surinder Bhagat reiterated the BJP's grassroots engagement model and said, “We are here not only to listen but to act. The developmental needs of our constituencies are our top priority. Whether it's road repairs, power supply, or water issues, each matter will be taken up with the concerned officials for prompt action.” Both the MLAs immediately took up the presented issues with the concerned department officials and pressed for their early disposal.
