KISHTWAR: Assistant Commissioner Development Phulail Singh today conducted a comprehensive field visit to Dharbadan Panchayat, Keshwan A and B Panchayats in Block Thakrie where he convened a public grievances redressal camp and inspected developmental works being executed under MGNREGA, Capex, PMAY-G, and SBM-G.
The ACD inspected progress of work on upcoming roads, bridges, and buildings. He emphasized the importance of quality work and ensuring durability. He warned that any lackadaisical approach would not be tolerated from any stakeholders. He also directed that each work should have a mandatory CIB with disclosure of all details.
At Dharbadan Panchayat, the ACD directed Block Development Officer (BDO) to identify a suitable patch of government land for the construction of a Panchayat Ghar. Later, he listened to people’s issues at public grievances redressal camps held at Dharbadan and Keshwan-Panchayats. He assured the public that their genuine issues would be resolved at the earliest possible time.
The ACD was accompanied by local BDO Istiyaz Ahmed Molvi and other field functionaries. The field visit and public grievance redressal camp were part of the district administration's efforts to ensure transparency, accountability and effective delivery of services to the public.
