UDHAMPUR: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Saloni Rai today convened a meeting of officers to review the progress of works executed under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act convergence plan for the financial year 2024-25.
The meeting also deliberated on formulating the convergence plan for 2025-26. The DC directed concerned officers to expedite pending works while maintaining quality standards. She emphasized on the importance of aligning departmental efforts to achieve tangible outcomes under MGNREGA.
Necessary instructions were issued to concerned to ensure proper documentation and the timely submission of progress reports. She instructed officers to draft a comprehensive convergence plan for 2025-26 while ensuring holistic development across the district.
The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner Rajinder Singh, Assistant Commissioner Development Dr. Ranjit Kotwal, Assistant Commissioner Panchayat Tanveer Wani, BDO's and other concerned.
