REASI: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Nidhi Malik chaired a preliminary meeting with concerned officers to discuss priority developmental projects proposed by MLAs of Reasi District.
Key projects under discussion included road widening, new road construction, sports infrastructure enhancement and augmentation of power, healthcare, and educational facilities. The DDC directed the XENs to provide expert inputs and coordinate with MLAs for necessary modifications. The DDC also highlighted that these projects need to be prioritised so that service delivery through these projects can be fast tracked.
The DDC emphasized on accountability, instructing the officials to document each project with detailed reports and photographs and ensure the preparation of a Detailed Project Report (DPR) for proper fund utilization and timely execution. ADDC Sukhdev Samyal, CPO Narinder Kumar , SDMs , XENs and other concerned officers attended the meeting.
