SRINAGAR: Government Lal Ded (LD) Hospital today enthusiastically celebrated International Women’s Day with great fervor to honor the achievements of women and strengthen the commitment to gender equality. The theme for 2025, ‘For ALL Women and Girls: Rights, Equality, Empowerment,’ underscores the pressing need to accelerate progress toward gender parity. The programme was organized under the leadership of Principal/ Dean Government Medical College Srinagar, Prof. (Dr.) Iffat Hassan Shah.
On this special occasion, Prof. (Dr.) Masuma Rizvi, Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, addressed the gathering, applauding the unwavering dedication of the hospital’s female workforce.
