KISHTWAR: Sub Divisional Magistrate Dr. Amit Kumar conducted a series of inspections of government institutions including the Sub District Hospital Atholi, Roads and GHSS Atholi Paddar to assess the healthcare facilities, restoration of road and onging Examinations respectively. The visit at PHC Atholi aimed to evaluate the availability of essential medicines, the condition of infrastructure, and the overall quality of patient care provided by the hospital.
During the inspection, the SDM took stock of the essential medicines and the infrastructure available at the hospital. He directed the hospital staff to prioritize cleanliness within the facility and to ensure timely and updated treatment of all patients. Later, accompanied by Executive Engineer PWD, he inspected the Garh Kukandran road which was closed due to a snow avalanche, causing inconvenience to the residents and commuters.
The SDM directed the Executive Engineer PWD to expedite the clearing of the road by doubling the clearance machinery to. The residents and commuters were urged to exercise caution and patience as the authorities are working towards reopening the Garh Kukandran road.
Meanwhile, he visited Government Higher Secondary School and inspected the ongoing examination for 12th class students. The SDM instructed the principal, supervisors and other staff members to conduct the examination in a fair manner.
