- Sat Sharma, Sham Lal Sharma address public meeting at Thathar
PLOURA-MUTHI: Sat Sharma CA, President, J&K BJP accompanied by MLA Sham Lal Sharma, District President Nand Kishore, and other senior leaders of party addressed a public meeting at Thathar, in Ploura-Mandal Mandal of organizational district Jammu North. Programme was organized by KD Singh, senior BJP leader, who also conducted the proceedings of the programme.
Ex District President Omi Khajuria, Ex dy mayor Dharamveer Singh Jamwal, Basant Raj Thakur, Devyani Singh, Rekha Manhas, Kuldeep Singh, Ashok Singh, Pankaj Padha, Raka Sharma, Raveesh Mengi, Suresh Khajuria and others were present on the occasion.
Addressing the gathering, Sat Sharma was overwhelmed with the enthusiasm of the general masses. He termed it as the endorsement of public welfare works done by the Modi government. He said that the schemes and policies envisaged by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi have gained the trust of the masses as they are focussed on the welfare of the needy, underpriviledged and the downtrodden.
Sat Sharma also lauded the efforts of the hardcore BJP activists, who dedicated themselves in the societal service to the extent that they compromised their personal health, family, and socio-economic conditions, but continued the ground implementation of the public welfare schemes and the welfare of the needy.
Expressing grief over the deaths of youths in Kathua, he said, “The bodies of three innocent youths found under suspicious circumstances in Bani area of district Kathua is extremely saddening. I express my deepest condolences to the bereaved families and pray to God Almighty to give the families strength to bear this loss”. He added that the culprits behind the terrible incident would not be spared at any cost.
Sham Lal Sharma enumerated various development works being initiated in the Assembly Constituency. He also spoke about the implementation of the schemes of the Modi government at the ground level for the benefit of the actual needy. He said that although BJP is not a part of the present government in Jammu & Kashmir, but the BJP MLAs are steadfast to develop their Constituencies in line with the growth pattern initiated by the Narendra Modi government in Jammu & Kashmir post abrogation of Article 370. He also said that the BJP’s MLAs are forcefully resisting the divisive agenda of the NC government in J&K Assembly.
Nand Kishore earlier welcomed the dignitaries and the general masses and said that the BJP activists are actively engaged in approaching the masses, knowing their needs and assisting them in availing various welfare schemes.
