PULWAMA: People’s Democratic Party (PDP) President, Mehbooba Mufti on Thursday visited Bellow, Pulwama, to extend her heartfelt condolences to the family of Nazir Ahmad Wani, who tragically passed away after enduring systemic injustices. Wani Sahab’s loss serves as a stark reminder of the ongoing hardships faced by the people of Jammu and Kashmir, she said.
Speaking to the grieving family, Mehbooba Mufti expressed her deep condolences acknowledging the emotional and physical toll it has taken on them.She lamented the current state of affairs in Jammu and Kashmir, where citizens are grappling with uncertainty, fear, and continued suppression.Mehbooba Mufti stressed that Wani Sahab’s struggle symbolized the resilience and determination of the people of J&K in the face of relentless adversity.
She called upon the authorities to address the grievances of the local population and urged immediate reforms to ensure that the rights and dignity of all citizens are safeguarded.The PDP President concluded her visit by offering prayers for the departed soul and assuring the family that their grief is shared by the entire community. She pledged that her party would continue to fight for justice and equality for the people of Jammu and Kashmir. The PDP President was accompanied by the party's MLA Pulwama, Waheed Ur Rehman Parra.
