- President Dr. G.N Var pays glowing tribute to the Late Qulsum Ali
SRINAGAR: The Private Schools Association of Jammu and Kashmir (PSAJK) expresses its deepest condolences on the sad demise of Qulsum Ali (Badi Mam), Chairperson of Hussaini Public High School, HMT Srinagar. The association stands in solidarity with her bereaved family, especially her husband, Mr. Farooq Ahmad Hajna, and daughter, Sabeena Farooq, who also serves as the Principal of Hussaini Public High School.
A delegation of PSAJK, led by State President Dr. G.N. Var, along with Majid Bhat (Central Kashmir Head), Bilal Ahmad (District President Srinagar), Tahir Wagay (General Secretary PSAJK District Srinagar), and other members, visited the bereaved family to offer their condolences. They also participated in her Nimaz-e-Janazah, paying their final respects.
Badi Mam was a brave, educated, and visionary woman who dedicated her life to the upliftment of education in Kashmir. Her contributions to the private education sector are immeasurable and will always be remembered. Her relentless efforts helped shape the future of many students, and she was an inspiration for many educators.
Dr. G.N. Var, President PSAJK, said "The passing of Qulsum Ali Ji is a huge loss for the education sector of Kashmir. She was a pioneer who devoted her life to educating generations with sincerity and dedication. Her contributions will continue to inspire us all. May Allah grant her the highest place in Jannah and give her family the strength to bear this irreparable loss."
Majid Bhat, PSAJK Central Kashmir Head, stated "Education in Kashmir has lost a guiding light today. Badi Mam was a mentor, edu leader and a strong pillar of the private education sector. Her legacy will always remain in the hearts of those she educated and guided."
Bilal Ahmad, PSAJK District President Srinagar, expressed his grief "Her passion for education and her tireless service to the students of Kashmir will never be forgotten. She was a role model for educators and a beacon of hope for students. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family during this difficult time."
Tahir Wagay, General Secretary PSAJK District Srinagar, said "Badi Mamâs contributions to the private education sector will be remembered for generations. She was a skilled school administrator who shaped the future of many through her dedication and hard work. We stand with her family in this moment of sorrow."
The PSAJK executive body and general members deeply mourn her loss and pay their respects to a distinguished educationist who dedicated her life to shaping young minds.
