RAMBAN: An awareness camp on PM Vishwakarma and other departmental schemes was organised today at Panchayat Seri-A to encourage the local unemployed youth to avail the benefits and establish their own income generating ventures.   The camp witnessed wide participation from the public. Attendees were briefed on the application process, eligibility criteria, and financial support available under the PMEGP and PM Vishwakarma Scheme. The schemes aim to empower individuals by offering financial assistance, skill development, and market access for sustainable livelihoods.

 The camp was held in the presence of the General Manager, District Industries Centre   Ravinder Kumar Anand.  Earlier, Project Manager Kuldeep Singh welcomed the participants and emphasized the importance of such awareness drives in reaching out to the rural population. He highlighted the government’s commitment to fostering entrepreneurship and preserving traditional crafts, ensuring economic growth and employment generation in the region.
