In loving memory of Dr. Priya Ranjan: A mentor who treated me like family

RAJOURI: As part of the ongoing road safety Month Campaign, an awareness and health check-up camp was today organized for commercial vehicle operators here at the Sunderbani Bus Stand. The camp was presided over by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC)   Ramkesh Sharma and coordinated by Motor Vehicle, Health and AYUSH Departments

The drivers and Cleaners were screened for basic health parameters and provided medical consultations. They were also advised on fitness, stress management, preventive healthcare and the importance of maintaining physical and mental well-being for safe driving.

The ADC underscored that the physical and mental fitness of drivers is directly linked to safe driving and accident prevention. “Such camps facilitate early detection of health issues and encourage responsible and disciplined driving behavior,” he noted. He appreciated the coordinated efforts of the ARTO, Health and AYUSH Departments officials for reaching out to drivers at their workplace.
