• Thousands attend Milad Conference; Certificates awarded to 45 Scholars and Huffaz; rallies held at hundreds of locations

TRIGAM SHADIPORA: The religious and social movement Karwani Islami International has been organizing hundreds of gatherings and assemblies across the length and breadth of the region during the month of Rabi-ul-Awwal in connection with Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH). Likewise, the Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) Conference held last night on the occasion of Shab-e-Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH)   at the central institution, Jamia Qadriyyah, Murshid Nagar, Trigam Shadipora, was celebrated with great enthusiasm, religious fervor and devotion.

According to newspaper sources, thousands of people from near and far participated in the gathering and spent the blessed hours of the night engaged in remembrance and devotional recitations, expressing their love and devotion to the Leader of the Messengers (PBUH), while also listening to speeches delivered by distinguished and renowned Islamic scholars. According to the spokesperson of Karwani Islami, besides the participation of numerous scholars from across the region, several renowned and authoritative scholars from different parts of the country also attended the conference.

Prominent among them were Allama Muhammad Ahmed Naqshbandi, Allama Ahmed Mahmood Azhari, and Allama Kamal Mustafa Azhari, who elaborated upon the blessings and virtues of Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ and renewed the spirit of love for the Messenger of Allah (PBUH)  among the people.

On this blessed occasion, Amir of Karwani Islami, Allama Dr. Ghulam Rasool Hami, while sharing several thoughts regarding Milad-un-Nabi(PBUH), categorically stated that Muslims throughout the world have been organizing such gatherings and assemblies since the earliest period of Islam and that there is a firm resolve to remain steadfast upon this tradition until the Day of Judgment. Hami said that believers have an unwavering faith that the Master of the Universe, Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (PBUH), has been granted by Allah, the Lord of all worlds, such an exalted rank and status that even imagining its full reality is beyond human comprehension.

Therefore, he said, no amount of remembrance and glorification of the blessed name and mention of the Holy Prophet ﷺ can ever be considered sufficient. He stated that one of the purposes of celebrating Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH)  is to acquaint the Muslim Ummah, particularly in these challenging times, with the teachings and love of the Holy Prophet (PBUH)  in a firm and meaningful manner, so that believers may continue to benefit from his outward and spiritual blessings and guidance.

Meanwhile, the scholars present on the occasion, conveying the message of the conference, said that celebrating Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH)  in this manner strengthens people's deep love, devotion and commitment to the Holy Prophet (PBUH) . They said that this blessed celebration is also an expression of gratitude to Allah Almighty for sending the greatest servant and Messenger of the entire universe, Hazrat Muhammad Rasoolullah (PBUH), through whom oppression, tyranny, injustice and ignorance were removed from humanity.

The scholars stated that the blessed birth of the Holy Prophet(PBUH)  is not only a source of mercy for Muslims but also a source of mercy, peace and security for the entire human race. They said that the mercy and protection associated with the Messenger of Allah (PBUH)  extends to all creation, and therefore every individual should participate in the joys of Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH)  and renew and strengthen his or her faith and devotion. During the event, approximately 45 scholars and Huffaz of the Holy Qur’an who had graduated from Jamia Qadriyyah were honored through a traditional Dastarbandi (turban-conferment) ceremony.

Various scholars praised and encouraged the graduates, stating that scholars are like shining stars who illuminate society with the light of knowledge in times of darkness and guide people towards the straight path. Regarding this, Allama Hami said that Karwani Islami and Jamia Qadriyyah, besides being centers of religious and academic learning, are also spiritual centers where, in addition to the sacred relics associated with the Holy Prophet ﷺ, numerous blessed relics connected with the Companions of the Prophet (PBUH)  and the righteous saints are preserved.

He said that on special occasions, members of the public are given the opportunity to visit and receive the blessings of some of these sacred relics. He further stated that Karwani Islami is a strong proponent of the mission of love for the Messenger of Allah (PBUH)  and the Ahl al-Bayt, as well as love and respect for the Companions, saints and great Sufi masters, and that the preservation, propagation and promotion of this methodology and mission is one of the fundamental objectives of Karwani Islami.
