GANDERBAL: A football match played between the Departments of English and Physical Education, Central University of Kashmir (CUKashmir)  was organised at the Tulmulla campus, as part of the National Sports Day celebrations under the theme Khelega Bharat, Jeetega Bharat here on Thursday.

The match was witnessed by students, teaching faculty and staff. The players delivered an impressive performance, with the Department of Physical Education producing a masterclass on the field, and secured a convincing 9–1 victory over the Department of English.

Dr. Mohammad Muzamil Shah was adjudged the Player of the Match for his outstanding contribution, scoring five goals and providing one assist. The match and subsequent medal ceremony were attended by Dr. Kaukab, I/c Director, Sports, along with Mr. Sunil, Sr Asst Prof, Deptt of English, and other employees.
