KULGAM: J&K Police in Kulgam conducted a wild cannabis destruction drive along the roadside areas of villages, Kurigam, Churat and Khargund in the jurisdiction of police station Qazigund.

During the drive, wild cannabis plants growing along roadside and other various locations was thoroughly identified and systematically uprooted and destroyed, eliminating potential sources of substance abuse and safeguarding the younger generation from the harmful consequences of drug addiction.

Police remains firmly committed to its mission of making the district drug-free and strengthening collective efforts against the menace of drugs. Public is urged to remain vigilant and extend active cooperation by identifying and reporting illicit drug activities and cultivation to the nearest Police unit or Dial-112.
