SRINAGAR: Minister for Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Information Technology, Youth Services & Sports, Science & Technology, Satish Sharma, has conveyed his warm greetings and best wishes to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan.

In his message, the Minister said that Raksha Bandhan is a revered festival that celebrates the cherished relationship between brothers and sisters and embodies the values of love, affection, trust, care and mutual respect.

He said the festival provides an opportunity to cherish family relationships and reaffirm the spirit of responsibility and compassion towards one another. These values, he added, have a significant role in strengthening the bonds of families and promoting harmony and togetherness in society.

Satish Sharma expressed hope that the auspicious occasion would usher in happiness, peace and prosperity for the people and further strengthen the bonds of unity, brotherhood and mutual respect across Jammu and Kashmir. The Minister wished everyone a joyous and peaceful Raksha Bandhan and prayed for the well-being and happiness of all families.
