SRINAGAR: Srinagar Police organised a dignified farewell ceremony at the District Police Lines (DPL), Srinagar, to honour 02 Police personnel on their superannuation, in recognition of their long, dedicated, and exemplary service to the Jammu & Kashmir Police.
The retiring personnel include ASI Mohd Yousuf Ganai & Follower Abdul Qayoom Najar. Throughout their distinguished careers, they served the department with unwavering commitment, professionalism, and integrity, making significant contributions towards maintaining peace, public safety, and law and order in the district.
On the occasion, Senior Superintendent of Police Srinagar, Dr. G.V. Sundeep Chakravarthy, IPS, paid rich tributes to the retiring personnel for their exemplary service and outstanding dedication to duty. He lauded their invaluable contributions to the force and expressed heartfelt appreciation for the professionalism, discipline, and devotion they displayed throughout their careers. SSP Srinagar also conveyed his best wishes to the retirees and their families, praying for their good health, happiness, and a peaceful, fulfilling post-retirement life.
The farewell ceremony was attended by SP Headquarters Shri Umar Shah, DySP Headquarters Ms. Syed Sleet Shah, DySP DAR Nazir Ahmad, along with other senior officers and officials of Srinagar Police, who joined in extending their gratitude and warm wishes to the retiring personnel.
As a mark of appreciation for their distinguished service, Certificates of Appreciation were presented to each of the retirees by SSP Srinagar in recognition of their dedication, sincerity, and valuable contributions to the department over the years.
The ceremony concluded on a warm and emotional note, reflecting the spirit of camaraderie, mutual respect, and the enduring bond that characterises the Jammu & Kashmir Police. Srinagar Police expressed its sincere gratitude to the retiring personnel for their selfless service and wished them a prosperous, healthy, and rewarding new chapter in life.
