JAMMU: The Central University of Jammu, in collaboration with the Directorate of Health Services Jammu, successfully organized a one-day Tuberculosis (TB) Awareness Camp in view of 100 days of TB Mukt Bharat to educate university staff about TB prevention and control. The camp was organized under the guidance of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Sanjeev jain. The camp featured informative sessions led by distinguished experts, including Dr. Nasreen, Dr. Geetanjali, Dr. Sona, They provided detailed insights into TB, its symptoms, treatment options, and preventive measures. The sessions aimed to spread awareness about early detection and reduce the stigma associated with the disease.
The event was coordinated by Dr. Vijayata Puri, Senior Medical Officer, Central University of Jammu, who ensured the smooth execution of the program. The awareness drive was well-received by the university staff and underscored the importance of collective efforts in combating TB. Mr. Saleem, Mr. Gaurav, and Mr. Ashok were also present as resource persons of the event. Registrar Prof. Yashwant Singh extended their gratitude to all the people who organized and participated in this camp.
