AWANTIPORA: Alamdar Memorial College of Nursing and Medical Technology, Islamic University of Science and Technology in collaboration with Sub District Hospital Charar-i-Sharief, organized a programme aimed at  enhancing  awareness about breastfeeding among new mothers.

During the event, nursing students and faculty discussed  various topics, including the benefits of breastfeeding for both babies and mothers, managing breastfeeding challenges and debunking myths associated with it. Demonstrations of proper feeding positions and techniques were conducted using AV aids and dummies. The trainers also engaged in one-on-one sessions with new mothers, offering personalized guidance.

The program saw participation from over 100 individuals, including mothers at the immunization camp, postpartum mothers, and others present at the hospital. The event concluded with a Q&A session and recognition of outstanding speakers.
