SRINAGAR: The Directorate of Youth Services & Sports, J&K, is all set to host the 69th Edition of the National School Games in the discipline of Wushu (Under-17 Boys & Girls) at the Indoor Sports Complex, Wazir Bagh, Srinagar. The championship will witness the participation of approximately 41 teams from across the country, showcasing the best young Wushu talent at the national level.

This prestigious national event is scheduled for October 28, while the competitions will continue till November 1, 2025. The event promises to bring together young athletes, coaches, and officials from various States, Union Territories and Organizations reflecting the true spirit of sportsmanship and unity.

The Director General, Youth Services & Sports, Anuradha Gupta (KAS), has extended her best wishes to all the participating contingents and commended the Organizing Committee for their dedicated efforts in preparing for the event. She expressed her confidence that the organzing teams of all committees will exhibit the same enthusiasm and commitment that marked the recently concluded U-19 Boys Football National, which was also hosted successfully by the Directorate.

With meticulous arrangements in place and the organizing teams working tirelessly, the Wushu National is expected to be a grand sporting spectacle, celebrating youth energy, discipline, and competitive excellence under the banner of the National School Games Federation of India (SGFI).
