SAMBA: The District Youth Services and Sports Office Samba, under the aegis of Director General Anuradha Gupta, on Friday inaugurated the Inter-District UT Level Boys (AAG) Netball Tournament here at the prestigious Rani Suchet Singh Sports Stadium. The tournament, meticulously organized under the supervision of DYSSO Dharmvir Singh, was declared open by Chief Education Officer Kewal Krishan-the Chief Guest.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 63 talented players representing six districts across Jammu & Kashmir UT, transforming the stadium into a vibrant arena of athletic excellence and competitive spirit.
The inaugural ceremony was marked by a pledge-taking ceremony where participants vowed their dedication towards sports, while remaining steadfast against the menace of drugs, thus reinforcing the administrationâs commitment to building a healthy and drug-free society.
The tournament provided an exceptional platform to young athletes to showcase their skills, fostering not merely physical fitness but also cultivating invaluable life skills including teamwork, discipline, resilience and sportsmanship.
