KATRA: NCC Cadet Dhruv Gera from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), Katra, has been selected to attend the Pre-Republic Day Camp (Pre-RDC) at the NCC Academy, Nagrota.
This selection marks a significant achievement, as the Pre-RDC is one of the most prestigious and competitive training camps organized under the National Cadet Corps (NCC). The camp aims to identify and groom cadets for participation in the Republic Day Camp (RDC) – 2026, to be held in New Delhi.
During the Pre-RDC camp, Cadet Dhruv Gera will undergo rigorous training sessions in drill, cultural activities, personality development, leadership skills, and national integration programs. The camp serves as a preparatory platform for cadets to qualify for the final RDC, where selected cadets from across the country represent their respective Directorates at the national level.
Dr. Varun Dutta, Associate NCC Officer (ANO), SMVDU, congratulated Cadet Dhruv Gera on his selection and expressed confidence that he will perform exceptionally well at the camp. He also acknowledged the consistent support and guidance provided by the Jammu, Kashmir & Ladakh NCC Directorate in motivating cadets to excel.
