GANDOH: Gandoh Police, in collaboration with Team Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA), intensified its anti-drug awareness campaign through a series of awareness and counselling sessions for students in the Gandoh area of district Doda.
As part of the initiative, an awareness programme was organised at Police Station Gandoh, where DySP Bhalesa Lov Karan, NMBA Brand Ambassador Vinay Thakur and SI Kalasha Devi interacted with students and educated them about the harmful effects of drug addiction on individuals, families and society. The speakers highlighted the challenges posed by substance abuse and stressed the importance of making informed and responsible life choices.
Students were encouraged to become ambassadors of positive change by spreading awareness among their peers, families and communities. The resource persons emphasised that the active participation of youth is crucial to achieving the objectives of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan and building a drug-free environment. Counselling was also provided to help students understand the importance of mental well-being, healthy lifestyles and staying away from harmful substances.
