DODA: Deputy Commissioner Doda Krishan Lal today visited Government Higher Secondary School Ghuraka to review the functioning and infrastructure of the institution. He was accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner Bhaderwah Sunil Bhutyal, Chief Planning Officer Doda Manish Kumar Manhas, Assistant Commissioner (Development) Doda Din Mohammad Afaqi and District Education Planning Officer Doda Dr Anis Ahmed.
Principal Rajinder Singh Bhall, along with staff members and students of the school, accorded a warm welcome to the visiting dignitaries. During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner inspected various sections of the institution and expressed satisfaction over the discipline, cleanliness, academic environment and overall management of the school. He appreciated the efforts of the school administration in ensuring quality education and maintaining a conducive atmosphere for learning.
Interacting with the students, DC Doda encouraged them to stay focused on academics while actively participating in co-curricular activities. The students responded enthusiastically, sharing their aspirations and concerns. The officers motivated them to work diligently and assured full administrative support for the advancement of education in the area.
On the occasion, the Principal projected several demands aimed at improving the school's infrastructure. Key issues highlighted included fencing of the playground, installation of electric poles, augmentation of water supply facilities and establishment of smart classrooms, among other developmental needs. The Deputy Commissioner gave a patient hearing to the issues raised and assured that all genuine demands would be examined on priority for necessary action.
