• 284 Young Participants unite at GDC Ground Khawaja Bagh to promote Health, Endurance, Active Living

BARAMULLA: As part of the nationwide Fit India Movement, the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) Baramulla today organized a Fit India Run at GDC Ground Khawaja Bagh, witnessing enthusiastic participation from students representing various educational institutions across the district.

A total of 284 boys participated in the event, demonstrating remarkable energy, discipline, and commitment towards physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle. The run was conducted with the objective of spreading awareness about the importance of regular physical activity and encouraging youth to adopt healthy habits.

The participants completed the run with great enthusiasm, reflecting the growing spirit of fitness and sportsmanship among the younger generation. The event also reinforced the message of the Fit India Movement, which aims to make fitness an integral part of everyday life. DYSS Baramulla reiterated its commitment to organizing such activities to inspire youth towards health, wellness and active participation in sports.
