KUPWARA: The Sadiq Memorial Educational Institute, Kupwara, celebrated its Annual Function Day 2025 with great enthusiasm and cultural fervor. The event witnessed overwhelming participation from students, teachers and parents, as young learners showcased their talent through a series of performances, speeches and cultural presentations that reflected both educational excellence and traditional values.
The function was graced by renowned educationist and PSAJK Founder, G.N. Var, as the Chief Guest. The Guests of Honour included Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Kupwara Mohammad Maqbool, Former CEO Kupwara Javaid Iqbal Wani, Principal GHSS Sulkoot Bashir Ahmad, Vice Principal Womenâs Degree College Sulkoot Farooq Faizan, Senior Lecturer Abdul Waheed, Chairman Sadiq Memorial Kupwara Mohsin Hussain, Principal Tabassum Farooq and ZNO Kupwara Faiz Wani.
The event began with a recitation of the Holy Quran and Naat-e-Shariff, followed by welcome addresses and vibrant performances by students that captivated the audience. From motivational speeches to thought-provoking skits, sports and colourful cultural presentations, the day was a celebration of the studentsâ creativity, confidence and discipline.
Speaking on the occasion, G.N. Var lauded the school administration, staff, and students for their outstanding dedication to education despite economic challenges. The students have shown excellence in every field, whether in speeches, cultural programs or academics.
