KISHTWAR: The District Rent Assessment Committee, under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Rajesh Kumar Shavan today approved 28 rent cases. The rent cases pertaining to Police, Army, Revenue, PMGSY, Education, Youth services and Sports, Health, cooperative, FCS & CA, ISM besides revenue department were approved by the Committee.
The Committee discussed the fixation of rent of various structures in which various government offices are functioning across the district. Addressing the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner asked the officers to pay rent to the concerned owners of land and structures on time and ensure safety of the Government/rented property.
He further asked the District Officers to pay the approved rent after proper verification of the records. Besides, the Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar instructed the concerned officers to ensure the participation of Building owners in the next meeting.
