- Delegation offers condolences to bereaved families
KISHTWAR: Former Minister Ghulam Mohammad Saroori has expressed profound sorrow over the tragic accident in the Bunjwah area of Kishtwar district, where two women lost their lives and three others sustained injuries yesterday. In his condolence message, Saroori stated that the incident is deeply saddening, and he stands in solidarity with the grieving families during this difficult time.
Saroori extended his heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased women, 25-year-old Mehrun Nisa, wife of Tariq Hussain, resident of Nali Bunjwah, and 35-year-old Rehana Begum, wife of Ashiq Hussain, resident of Jawalpur Bunjwah. He also prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured. He emphasized that such incidents remind us of the dangers on the roads and the need for taking necessary precautions. Saroori urged the government to take immediate steps to address road safety concerns.
Additionally, a delegation including Shariq Saroori, Irshad Ahmed, Mohammad Iqbal Keen, Khalid Hussain Sheikh, and Ch. Missar Din visited the families of the victims to offer their personal condolences. The delegation expressed their solidarity with the bereaved families, assuring them of their full support during this time of sorrow.
The delegation also called on the government to urgently address the deteriorating road conditions to prevent such accidents in the future. The injured, identified as Tariq Hussain, Brera Banoo, and Muzaffer Hussain, have been shifted to GMC Doda for treatment, and prayers are being made for their recovery.
