REASI: Additional District Development Commissioner Reasi Krishan Lal chaired a review meeting to assess the progress of activities being implemented under the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP), Jammu and Kashmir Competitiveness Improvement Project (JKCIP) and the functioning of Kisan Khidmat Ghars (KKGs) in the district.

During the meeting, the ADDC conducted a review of units approved under various schemes and emphasized the need to enhance the conversion rate of sanctioned cases into successfully established units. He directed the concerned officers to ensure effective monitoring and timely implementation of all approved projects to achieve the intended objectives.

The ADDC stressed the importance of completing Kisan Sathi Output Tracking for all established units and ensuring timely completion of mandatory beneficiary courses on the Daksh Kisan Portal. He also directed the concerned departments to expedite farmer registration, farm registration and KYC completion on the KKG Portal to strengthen service delivery mechanisms.

Reviewing the status of projects sanctioned under JKCIP, he called for their early establishment and operationalisation. He further instructed officers to maintain regular monitoring and follow-up of approved cases to ensure desired outcomes under both HADP and JKCIP.

He also directed the concerned departments to convene fresh District Level Committee (DLC) meetings for pending cases under HADP and JKCIP after proper verification of applications. He stressed the need for thorough assessment of the technical and financial feasibility of proposed projects before placing them for approval.

The meeting was attended by the Chief Agriculture Officer and officers from allied departments. The officers assured the chair that all directions issued during the meeting would be implemented in a time-bound manner to ensure the successful execution of agricultural development initiatives in the district.
