RAMBAN: The District Employment and Counselling Centre (DECC) Ramban organized an awareness camp at the Block Development Office (BDO), Sangaldan, with the aim to educate unemployed youth about various self-employment schemes under the Mission Youth initiative. The event witnessed active participation from local youth, who were eager to explore opportunities for self-reliance and employment.

Youth Professional (YP) from DECC Ramban, Lovepreet Singh, addressed the gathering and provided a comprehensive demonstration of the self-employment schemes available under the Mission Youth program. He outlined the application process, eligibility criteria, and the benefits these schemes offer, encouraging the youth to take advantage of these opportunities to build sustainable livelihoods.

In addition to the self-employment schemes, He also highlighted various employment related services available through the JK Employment Portal and the National Career Service (NCS) Portal. These platforms offer a range of resources, including job listings, career counseling, and skill development programs, designed to assist the youth in finding gainful employment.

Block Development Officer Sangaldan, Anmol emphasized the importance of such initiatives in empowering the local youth and fostering economic growth in the region. He urged the participants to actively engage with the resources provided and to consider entrepreneurship as a viable career path.
