The other officers, who attended the function, include Sat Paul Bhagat, Block Development Officer, Ramnagar, Girdari Lal, Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Ramnagar, and Chain Singh, Naib Tehsildar Ramnagar.

The program commenced with a tribute to the martyr, where attendees paid their respects by laying flower garland, to the valiant son of the soil who laid down his life in the line of duty. The ceremony also featured a vibrant cultural program showcasing the patriotic spirit of the students from various schools of the Panchayat Thaplal.

The rechristening of the school in Martyr Krishan Chand Khajuria’s name stands as a tribute to his bravery and a reminder to the younger generation of the invaluable contributions made by the armed forces to the nation’s security and freedom.

On this occasion, the Chief guest highlighted the supreme sacrifice of the martyr, who laid his life on the auspicious day of Independence, 15 August 1999, during a fierce militant attack at Sarare, Chenani.
