SAMBA: An innovative inter-departmental awareness camp was successfully conducted at Panchayat Chajjwal, Block Samba, aimed at promoting self-empowerment and sustainable livelihoods among local residents. Key officials from the Handicrafts and Labour Departments, including Assistant Director Handicrafts Ekshu Sharma and Assistant Labour Commissioner Samba Himani Jerath, directly engaged with community members to provide comprehensive information about various government schemes and their potential benefits.

The strategic awareness initiative underscores the administration's commitment to grassroots-level development and good governance. By bringing multiple departmental resources directly to the community, the camp sought to bridge information gaps and encourage local residents to leverage available governmental support for their economic and social advancement.

Officials interacted closely with participants, explaining the nuanced details of departmental schemes designed to support and uplift local populations. The camp represents a proactive approach to community engagement and empowerment. The initiative is part of the ongoing efforts to showcase Samba as a model of responsive and citizen-centric governance, emphasizing direct communication and accessible public services.
