Joint team resolves land dispute

BHADERWAH: The pending up-gradation work at Ayushman Arogya Mandir (AAM) Sub Centre Gutasa- Bhaderwah sanctioned under District CAPEX is expected to move on after a health department team resolved a land dispute hampering the execution.

Under the directions of the Chief Medical Officer, a joint team comprising Block Medical Officer Bhaderwah, Assistant Director Planning (Health), Junior Engineer, PWD (R&B), Girdawar and Patwari, visited Gutasa to resolve the land-related dispute.

The team held necessary discussions and coordinated with the concerned stakeholders to address the issue. After the intervention of the visiting team, the land dispute was successfully resolved, paving the way for the execution of the pending sanctioned CAPEX work at the facility. The department is expected to initiate the work shortly, which will further strengthen the healthcare facilities for the local population.

His pioneering work in networked systems, AI, robotics and biomedical applications—especially computer-vision tools for early detection of cancer and heart disease—reflected his deep belief that advanced technology must serve humanity.

For more than 15 years at JK Monitor, he remained a loyal friend, mentor and collaborator, marked by rare humility, intellectual integrity and quiet generosity. His passing leaves a void that cannot be filled. Priya, you will be deeply missed. Your life continues to remind us that knowledge finds its highest purpose in the service of others.
