SRINAGAR: Sh. M.K. Sinha, IPS took over the charge as ADG CID J&K from Sh. Nitish Kumar, IPS who has been transferred as ADG Armed Police J&K. On assuming his charge, he held a meeting with senior officers of CID J&K and reviewed the overall functioning of intelligence wing. 

Sh. M.K. Sinha is an IPS officer of 1996 batch and was functioning as ADG (HQR) PHQ J&K. Sh. Nitish Kumar is an IPS officer of 1999 batch and was functioning as ADG CID/Director SIA J&K.

Senior officers of CID Hqr J&K welcomed new ADG CID and assured him full cooperation and commitment in discharging their duties. They also wished a successful tenure for the outgoing ADG Sh. Nitish Kumar for his new assignment as ADG Armed J&K.
