VIJAYPUR: Apni Party’s Contesting Candidate, and Former Minister, S. Manjit Singh has sought vote of development and employment for the bright future of the educated youth, who have been rendered jobless in the last ten years in Samba District’s Vijaypur.

As per a press release, the Former Minister, contesting from Vijaypur Assembly Constituency, has received support from all the sections of society for his progressive approach towards the suffering of the people, who faced negligence and ignorance for the last several years.

“The people faced negligence for years as the authorities were not ready to listen to them. These elections have become a ray of hope for them to elect their own representative from the Vijaypur Constituency,” said S. Manjit Singh, asserting that he witnessed a change in the perspective of the people, who want jobs, employment and protection of the resources from the non-locals.

“The Apni Party, if it forms the Govt, will formulate a comprehensive policy for the recruitment of educated unemployed youth in the vacant Govt posts in a fair manner. A special recruitment drive will be launched especially for the border residents of Samba District for their recruitment in paramilitary, police, and other armed forces of the country,” he said, during one of the public meetings in Vijaypur Assembly Constituency. He said that the people want an elected representative that is available to them, and their issues can be addressed easily.

“The issue of underdevelopment, poor infrastructure, lack of school buildings/ crumbling classrooms / schools want repair work/separate toilet facility for girls in schools, upgradation of schools from primary to the high/higher schools, opening of new colleges, improvement in medical care and other infrastructure in the health sector, and shortage of staff in educational as well as health institutions is also an issue for the people in Vijaypur that would also be addressed....,” he said.

Meanwhile, people from different sections of society are participating in the public meetings across Vijaypur and extending their support to S. Manjit Singh.
