CHANDIGARH: The Department of Computer Science Engineering, Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura Near Chandigarh, celebrated Engineering Day with a series of technical activities including an Expert Talk by IT professionals, Coding Competition, Technology Quiz and On-the-Spot PPT Making Competition. Students from CSE, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, BCA etc participated enthusiastically and showcased their technical knowledge, creativity and problem-solving skills.
Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges, said that Engineering Day is celebrated every year on September 15 to mark the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Sir M. Visvesvaraya, one of India’s most distinguished engineers. He said the day recognises the contribution of engineers to technological advancement and nation-building, and encouraged students to strengthen practical skills and develop innovative solutions to real-world challenges.
