In loving memory of Dr. Priya Ranjan: A mentor who treated me like family

HYDERABAD: Healthark's flagship annual summit, RISE Health Innovation Summit 2026, will hold its live event in Hyderabad on 24th September 2026. The summit will be graced by the presence of Hon’ble Minister for Information Technology, Electronics & Communications, Industries & Commerce, & Legislative Affairs, Government of Telangana, Shri D. Sridhar Babu, who will deliver the keynote address, alongside Ajit Reddy, CEO, Invest Telangana, bringing an important policy and industry perspective to the day's conversations on healthcare and life sciences industry.

The summit will bring industry leaders from pharmaceutical, healthcare, and biotechnology organizations together for a day of high-impact dialogue. The conversations will address the priorities currently shaping the global life sciences and healthcare ecosystem. The day will open with a keynote on India's healthcare future, followed by the launch of a Book on India's GCC opportunity by Healthark, co-authored alongside leaders from Opella, Roche, Novo Nordisk, and Takeda. This will be followed by dedicated discussions on Global Capability Centers (GCCs) and emerging trends in genomics and biotechnology.

Distinguished speakers at the summit include John Dawber, Vice President & Managing Director - Global Business Services, India, Novo Nordisk; Chandani Palshetkar, Global Head of GCC Strategy & Services, Opella; Pawan Sachdeva, Senior Managing Director - Technology, Carelon Global Solutions; Mahesh Natarajan, Senior Director - Research & Development, Thermo Fisher Scientific; and other eminent leaders shaping the sector.

"Healthcare innovation doesn't happen in silos - it takes leaders, institutions, and industries coming together with a shared purpose," highlighted Dr. Purav Gandhi, Founder & CEO, Healthark. "RISE Health Innovation Summit 2026 reflects that belief, bringing together the expertise and perspectives needed to shape what comes next for the industry."

Sudeep Krishna, President & Co-Founder, Healthark, echoed this outlook: "India's role in global healthcare and life sciences has evolved well beyond execution - the country has become a genuine hub for strategic thinking and innovation. By bringing these conversations to RISE, we aim to give that shift the platform it deserves."

The summit will also mark a skilling initiative that began in Hyderabad two years ago to bridge the region's life sciences industry with the talent needed to power it. Starting with a pilot batch of around 140 students across Telangana, the programme has since grown into a broader model. The students, principals, and HR leaders driving that growth will be felicitated at the event, recognized for laying the groundwork for the industry's future workforce.

With the momentum of its previous editions, RISE Health Innovation Summit 2026 continues to stand as a defining platform for the global life sciences and healthcare ecosystem. By bringing visionary leaders together, the live summit will drive the conversations set to define the future of global healthcare and life sciences.
