In loving memory of Dr. Priya Ranjan: A mentor who treated me like family

JAMMU: G Kishan Reddy was addressing a press conference at BJP media center, here today evening. BJP Working President, Sat Sharma, Former Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh, Rajya Sabha MP, Engineer Ghulam Ali Khatana, and Media Center In-charge, Arun Gupta were also present in the press conference.

  • G Kishan Reddy challenges Rahul Gandhi to a debate in front of the Maharaja Hari Singh statue in Maharaja Hari Singh Park
  • Union Minister of Coal and Mines and Jammu and Kashmir  Assembly election in-charge for BJP, G Kishan Reddy takes strong exception to the language used by Rahul Gandhi
  • G. Kishan Reddy states that the language used by Rahul Gandhi on Maharaja Hari Singh is extremely derogatory and deplorable
  • Rahul Gandhi should learn history and understand the various development works of Maharaja Singh. He has used words like “Maharaja Hari Singh was thrown out”, “Maharaja Hari Singh ran away”.
  • It is shameful that he chose September 23rd, the day of Maharaja Hari Singh’s birthday to insult him by stating that Kings have never cared about their subjects
  • Every family in the region has a photo of Maharaja Hari Singh as they respect the positive development and reforms that he ushered in
  • This is the destructive politics of Rahul Gandhi as he tries to break society along caste, religion, region and language
  • He keeps stating that LG is an outsider. How many Governors in J&K and across India did the Congress Party appoint and how many were domiciles of the same state ?
  • How is it that Rahul Gandhi looks at the LG as an outsider but Sonia Gandhi who was not born in India could become an MP the Congress Party President for 2 decades, Member of the National Advisory Council and the defacto leader the UPA Government
  • This clearly shows that Rahul Gandhi treats J&K as not a part of India and this is the language of separatists
  • Of the 15 Governors and Lt. Governors appointed so far across Congress (8), BJP (5) and Other Parties (2) none of them barring Dr. Karan Singh where domiciles of J&K as that of Dr Karan Singh was a period of transition
  • Kishan Reddy chides Rahul Gandhi “Rahul Baba Charitra Padho”
  • Asks Rahul Gandhi for an open debate comparing the failures of the Congress in J&K over 60 years to the achievements of the BJP in the last 10 years
  • Over the last 10 years there has been transformational change in Jammu and kashmir across all domains from health, education, and infrastructure to welfare.
  • The poor gets are beneficiaries of toilets in their houses, provided free grain, piped water, and Gas cylinders and those without houses are also given houses
  • States that Rahul Gandhi has been degrading the role of Leader of Opposition that was once held by the likes of Atal Behari Vajpayee, L.K Advani, Sushma Swaraj and Ghulam Nabi Azad
  • Today, as long as Rahul Gandhi is in India, he continuously insults Indian institutions including the Supreme Court of India, Indian Parliament, the Indian Armed forces, and the Election Commission
  • When he goes outside he insults, Indian democracy and the Indian way of life
  • Therefore, an open debate under Maharaja Hari Singh’s statue would put these issues to rest.
