BUDGAM: Police in Budgam organized a medical camp under Civic Action Programme 2024-2025 (CAP) at PHC Poshker Khag. The camp was inaugurated by DySP DAR Shri Ghulam Mohi ud Din- besides, SHO Police Station Khag was also present on the occasion.
The Medical camp was organized to provide basic health care facilities to the people of Khag area and free consultations and medications to approximately 300 individuals of the area was provided. A medical team Headed by Dr. Aijaz Suhaff, a renowned psychiatrist from SMHS Srinagar, accompanied by Miss Insha, I/C Drug De-Addiction Centre DPL Budgam and other paramedical staff examined the patients from far-off areas of Khag area. During the camp, quality medicines were distributed among locals free of cost as per their diagnosis.
The DySP DAR in his inaugural address, laid stress on importance of physical and mental health for all. He also emphasised upon importance of hygiene and other preventive health care measures in one’s life that can help a person in maintaining a healthy life style. He also advised the Youth to refrain from taking illicit drugs.
