JAMMU: The BJP senior leader, Chander Mohan Sharma, who was contesting as a rebel in the Assembly elections, on Friday joined the BJP in presence of BJP National President, Jagat Prakash Nadda. On the occasion, the party's national general secretary and in-charge of Jammu and Kashmir, Tarun Chug and BJP spokesperson and media center in-charge, Arun Gupta were also present.
Chander Mohan Sharma said that his joining is homecoming in the BJP. JP Nadda also praised the decision and said that there is room in the BJP for anyone who wants to serve the country. Tarun Chugh said that Chander Mohan Sharma has withdrawn his candidature and rejoined the party in the interest of the party, which is a good omen for the party.
He said that everyone wants to be connected with the revolutionary achievements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for Jammu and Kashmir and wants to bring prosperity here while keeping Jammu and Kashmir on the path of peace and development.
