REASI: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Reasi Nidhi Malik today chaired the meeting of District Level Committee on the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) to review the implementation of the scheme and strategize measures for its effective execution in the district. The meeting was attended by officers from agriculture and allied sectors, along with the field staff.
The DDC conducted a detailed review of the department-wise progress in Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, and other allied sectors. She emphasized the need for enhanced outreach efforts to engage farmers and increase their registration on the dedicated HADP portal. The DDC directed officers to prepare a comprehensive component-wise report, detailing the number of applications received, cases approved and projects implemented under the programme.
Highlighting the importance of achieving the set targets, The DDC urged officers to work in a coordinated and dedicated manner to ensure visible results at the grassroots level. She stressed the importance of collaboration among departments and encouraged proactive engagement with farmers to maximize the programme's impact.
