RAMBAN: A Financial Awareness Program was successfully organized at Haila Dharam in Block Gundi-Dharam by the Centre for Financial Literacy (CFL) in collaboration with SBI RSETI Ramban. The event, attended by 50 participants, aimed to promote awareness about key financial inclusion schemes launched by the Government of India.
Led by Director SBI RSETI Harvinder Singh, the session introduced flagship schemes like Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY), Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY), Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY), and Atal Pension Yojana (APY). Addressing the attendees, the Director emphasized the transformative potential of financial literacy in ensuring economic empowerment. He highlighted the importance of these schemes in mitigating financial risks and building a secure future for rural families. Interactive sessions provided detailed guidance on enrollment processes, eligibility criteria, and scheme benefits. CFL representatives offered on-the-spot assistance, enabling participants to register for the programs.
The Director remarked, "Financial awareness is the first step towards financial empowerment. Programs like this enable individuals to access government initiatives that ensure a safer and more secure future." The participants expressed gratitude for the insightful session and pledged to share the knowledge within their communities. This initiative by CFL and SBI RSETI Ramban underscores their commitment to financial inclusion, rural development, and empowering individuals to secure their financial well-being.
