RAMBAN: The District Administration Ramban today conducted the OMR-based Police Constable Examination, organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB), at five designated examination centres in the district.
Out of the 1000 candidates enrolled, 324 appeared for the examination held at Government Model Higher Secondary School (GMHSS) Ramban, Government Degree College (GDC) Ramban, Kamal Academy Chanderkote, Government High School (GHS) Chanderkote, and Government Polytechnic College Chanderkote.
The examination was conducted seamlessly under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, and the supervision of Additional Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Varunjeet Singh Charak.
During his visit to the examination centres, the ADC highlighted the significance of this recruitment process in meeting the staffing requirements of the Jammu and Kashmir Police Department.
The examination process was closely monitored by General Observer, Additional District Development Commissioner Ramban Roshan Lal, Nodal Officer Ganesh Kumar (DSEO), Tehsildar Vijay Kumar, Tehsildar Harvir Singh, Naib Tehsildars, and Superintendents of Examination Centres to ensure a smooth and fair conduct of the exam.
The District Administration expressed its appreciation to the candidates for their active participation and extended gratitude to the team involved for their efforts in the successful conduct of the JKSSB Police Constable Exam in Ramban.
