- BJP Jammu North holds workers’ meeting
JAMMU: BJP Jammu North held a workers’ meeting at Jhiri, which was addressed by Sat Sharma, President, BJP Jammu & Kashmir. Sat Sharma, while addressing the party workers congratulated them for their dedicated work in the recently concluded Assembly Election and said that the selfless workers have worked day and night to secure the emphatic victory margin with the largest vote count in the Jammu & Kashmir.
Sat Sharma, said that the BJP has a strong organizational base that came into existence due to the sacrifices from devoted generations. He said that it is the collective responsibility of every single party worker to further extend the base of party into the remotest possible regions.
Sat Sharma said that the party has undertaken the important task of membership drive which is celebrated in the organization as ‘Sangathan Parv’. He said that the membership drive was delayed in the Jammu & Kashmir due to the Assembly elections and hence the party activists have to work at double speed to reach the target set up by the party.
Earlier, Sat Sharma was felicitated by the Jammu North District team under the leadership of Omi Khajuria. Omi Khajuria reposed faith in the leadership of Sat Sharma and said that the party will expand its horizons under the experienced leadership of Sat Sharma. He assured Sat Sharma that the party workers would dedicate themselves completely to the tasks and targets given to them by the party leadership.
