BUDGAM: On eve of International Anti-Corruption Day, the Anti-Corruption Bureau Srinagar in collaboration with Government Degree College (GDC) Khansahib today organised a program on the theme ‘Uniting with Youth against Corruption: Shaping Tomorrow’s Integrity,’ here. The programme organised under the supervision of college Principal, Dr. Nargis Bano, witnessed participation from at-least 110 students and faculty. Besides, members from the anti-corruption bureau also graced the occasion.
The chief prosecuting officer Anti-corruption Bureau Srinagar, Riaz Ahmad delivered a speech on ‘Anti-corruption Laws, Dimensions of Corruption and its Emerging Contours’.
Two ACB Inspectors also spoke on the occasion. Dr. Sajad Padder, NSS Programme Officer and Prof. Asma Hussan talked about the role of educational institutions in socializing students about imperatives of corruption free India for a Viksit Bharat@2047.
Four college students Seerat Fayaz, Ummar Bashir, Saima Majeed and Khushboo Javid also spoke on the occasion and were awarded certificates of participation by the ACB officials.
