JAMMU: A grand function was organized in Jammu today to mark the 129th birth anniversary of the great Dogra ruler of Jammu and Kashmir, Maharaja Hari Singh, in which tributes were paid to his statue, remembering his services. Several eminent personalities including Dr Jitendra Singh, Union Minister, Maharaja Hari Singh's grandson Ajat Shatru Singh, BJP national spokesperson RP Singh, Vikram Randhawa and others participated in the occasion.
RP Singh paid tribute to Maharaja Hari Singh on the occasion, praising his patriotism and social work. Singh said that Maharaja Hari Singh's leadership ability not only put Jammu and Kashmir on the path of development, but his vision also played an important role in connecting the state with India.
Maharaja Hari Singh was remembered as a visionary ruler who made Jammu and Kashmir a part of India and maintained the integrity of the country. The social reforms carried out by him and his services to the country and society were highlighted by Singh.
